As many other individuals I am pushed by the time and to be honest I don't know where I will be in 10 years and I guess you don't know either. Will you be one among many others that live a life in a circle of obligation?
Work - Eat - Make Love - Sleep = Repeat
Or will you be a dreamer that lives your dreams with many others.
It's all about the safety-net, your comfort zone a home. That is what gives most people drive, attitude, confidence, a smile and joy. A safety-net. Look at all the student's that get's the financial aid. They got time to play playstation, time for parties, time for wasting the time and the list goes on and on. Of course time for their studies also. Most important they have the time to smile because they have a roof over their head.
THIS MUST BE THE SAME FOR OTHER STUDENTS!
And then look at all the student's that get none. They have to eat unhealthy food, work 3 times harder and live under bad conditions. Is that fair? Is that how we want our society to innovate, to produce, to create. Is that the image we want to give out. Students outside of Europe or that comes from undeveloped countries, who are not supported by their family, scholarship or any form of financial aid will have to work no matter what. Or else they are not able to pay their rent. This put the student in an extremely stressful situation because the student must work in order to survive while the other student's that get's the financial aid can lean back and look cool.
However it's just looking cool because what happens if you take away a student's financial aid equal safety-net. Would they still be studying the same subject, law, medicine, psychology with many others. Maybe not!
Or would they maybe feel forced to find a job to pay their rent and food. Or maybe live with their parents for a long time like most of the student's does in France and other Countries.
The safety-net gives time for creativity, time for a smile, time for being social, time for studying, yes time for living.
I just don't think it is fair that the system decides who can get financial aid. Why is it only student's that can get financial aid. Because they study to be something that is a part of the system in the end. They are like pinocchio, a marionette doll in the bigger game.
What about people that are not student's. Yes what about them. They will have to work simply to pay their rent like a normal individual that got his diploma and is now a worker.
IS IT NORMAL THAT WE GIVE UP OUR FREEDOM, OUR HEALTH, OUR WELL BEING, OUR TIME, OUR LOVE, OUR CREATIVITY BECAUSE WE NEED TO PAY OUR HOME? I mean sacrifice 80% of our life to pay stuff.
